Veerangana" (or Birangana) refers to several Indian productions, most prominently a recent Bengali web series/movie on Hoichoi about a female cop fighting bride-deaths (2025). There's also a 2023 Hindi short film about breaking chains dedicated to Rani Lakshmi Bai, another Hindi short by ALLEN GuruKripa about women's discrimination, and older films from 1947 and even 1928.
